Left Cheers Assassination: An Outrageous Attack on Free Speech

In the swirling sea of politics, sometimes the headlines just write themselves. The predictable outrage from the Democrat side seems to have hit another high, or should we say low? Our friends on the left seem more upset about a comedian’s brief timeout than an actual tragedy that has impacted Charlie Kirk’s family. Talk about having some seriously twisted priorities! It’s as if they’ve shown the world where their outrage sensors are pointed, and folks, it sure isn’t north.

Let’s take a closer look at the contrast here. You’ve got Jimmy Kimmel, the late-night jester of corporate TV, taking a few days off for some harmless timeout. No shabby gig, considering it’s a paid vacation. Then, on a far more serious note, there’s Charlie Kirk, whose voice has been tragically silenced forever. And yet, which event gets the left’s tear ducts flowing? The inconvenience of a comedian, of course. It seems like priorities have taken a back seat.

This isn’t just a political kerfuffle. It’s a deeper issue that transcends the usual left-right squabble. It’s about showing a pinch of human decency, something that appears mysteriously absent in some circles lately. One might think that a tragedy like the one faced by Kirk’s family would evoke empathy and an apology from those on the progressive side who, at times, have hurled hyperbolic rhetoric. But instead, what do we hear? Crickets.

While the left busies itself with odd displays of misplaced outrage, Erika Frantzve demonstrated a remarkable act of forgiveness during a recent memorial service. She stood as a beacon of what Christianity preaches—turning the other cheek and offering forgiveness even when it’s tough. It’s what any decent, honorable person would do, or at least consider. Meanwhile, our leaders, with President Trump at the helm, are supposed to mete out justice and maintain order, as per their divine mandate described in Romans 13.

Not to be left out, Trump took a decisive step by designating Antifa as a terrorist organization, addressing where the real threat is perceived to be coming from. It’s a reminder that there’s a need for balance between offering forgiveness and ensuring justice. Hopefully, as the dust settles, the left will find its moral compass again, perhaps even consider a bit of soul-searching. Until then, the world keeps turning, and the rest of us can only hope for a return to common sense.
