“We can’t go back to the status quo that allowed this to happen in the first place.”

Sec. of State Antony Blinken denounced Hamas’ war crimes on Friday saying there can “be no more business as usual with Hamas,” and calling their actions “unconscionable.”

He also said the U.S. is working to help create “safe zones” for civilians in Gaza and provide access to resources “out of harm’s way.”
